Glomeromycetes
These fungi of 160 species have a distinct type of endomycorrhizae. This is caled Arbuscular Mycorrhizae. The tips fo the hyphae push into plant root cells and branch into tiny tree like structures know as arbuscules. They form a symbiotic relationship with the plant. The formation of endomycorrhizae supply minerals and other nutrients to the roots while the fungi have a habitat to thrive.
